Well, it seems like Han So Hee is set to showcase yet another side to herself when the premiere of her GL movie Heavy Snow premieres.

While not much has been known about the film, snippets have showcased the story that is outside the star’s usual filmography. In 2019, the actress seemingly posted photos from the filming of the production.

In December, the trailer was first released and showcased the first snippet of Han So Hee’s role. In the video, Han So Hee’s character was in the bar when she was approached by a man. As he seems to be flirting with her, the actress replies, “I said I’m okay,”

After the man leaves, a woman goes up to Han So Hee and explains, “Until when are you going to act like you don’t know? Do you know how long I’ve been looking for you?”

The two then have a conversation, and it seems like there is a conflict between the stars.

    Han So Hee: Sit down

Han So Hee: It’s been a while

Woman: Why are you avoiding me?

Han So Hee: I’ve just been thinking about things

The woman then seems to compliment Han So Hee, calling her “Pretty,” and there is an undeniable chemistry between them both that will link into the story of the movie.

Woman: You look pretty as always.

Han So Hee: Am I still pretty?

Woman: You’re not just pretty… There is something special about you.

Han So Hee: How about it? Am I still pretty?

Woman: Why are you doing things like that?

Screenshots of the movie have also been released, with one showing Han So Hee lying on the snow close to her co-star and holding hands.

Although the trailers and snippets have circulated on the internet for a few months, it seems like there is a date for the premiere after it was announced to be shown at the 24th Jeonju International Film Festival ‘Korea Competition.’

The annual festival introduces independent and experimental films to focus on the alternative course of contemporary film art.

On the website, the festival introduced Heavy Snow as a story of the blossoming friendship and love between two girls.

Two high cchool students fall in love and experience a variety of emotions while going back and forth between Gangneung and Seoul. The film captures the two girls’ feelings for one another despite their separation in time and space. It also features Han So Hee in her younger years.

When the announcement was shared online, netizens couldn’t believe they were finally getting to see the movie that gained attention in 2022.

As always, Han So Hee is never afraid to take on projects or showcase sides of herself that might not be as accepted in Korean society, which can sometimes still have conservative views on topics like gender and sexuality.
