On February 16, the fine jewelry house Qeelin held its boutique opening event at the headquarters of the Lotte Department Store in Seoul, South Korea.

On this day, the event didn’t only invite models and significant personalities but as well as K-pop idols who play a huge part in the fashion industry. Among them were SHINee Minho, Oh My Girl Arin, (G)I-DLE Yuqi, former IZ*ONE Kang Hyewon and model Irene.

The venue was indeed filled with stars with overflowing visuals, but among them, this female idol turned actress specifically stood out most, and it is none other than, Hyewon!

In particular, during the event, Korean journalists were invited as well and the star-studded guests all happily participated in the photo op. The pictures were being uploaded in real-time, thus, these were taken in natural lighting and didn’t undergo post-processed.

Despite this, Hyewon proved that she’s the main event by stealing the spotlight with her breathtaking natural visuals!

Indeed, Kang Hyewon (Hye Won) was first known for her top-tier beauty when she joined Mnet’s “Produce 48” in 2018. Initially, she was only acknowledged for her visuals, but later on, fans also recognized her potential and improvements throughout the show, leading to her debut in IZ*ONE. She briefly enjoyed popularity as a K-pop idol until the team disbanded in 2021 due to voting manipulation claims against Mnet.

Since then, Hyewon started paving her path to becoming an actress. Under 8D Entertainment, Kang made her acting debut through the web drama, “Best Mistake.”

Hyewon also decided to pursue a solo singing career, releasing her special winter album, “W” in 2021 and “Like a Diamond” in 2022.
