No, Korean stars Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin, are not getting divorced. And he doesn’t have a gambling problem either.

The couple, who tied the knot last March, have one of the most envied relationships in showbiz.

So it’s more likely that the recent rumours about the couple, who became parents last November, is a case of sour grapes.

According to a recent viral YouTube video, the couple’s marriage has been on the rocks, with Ye Jin planning to file for a divorce from Hyun Bin next month.

The video claimed that Hyun Bin has a gambling problem, and has lost 3bil won (S$3mil) from failed stock investments. They also said that the actor had landed himself in debt, and as a result, had to ask Ye Jin for financial help.

The video, which was posted five days ago (Mar 15), has 394K views as of press time.

Hyun Bin’s agency, VAST Entertainment, addressed the rumours earlier today, saying: “There has recently been fake news on YouTube, and [we] have already requested for the video to be taken down.”

His agency added that they will report the channel, and are currently monitoring the situation. They have also started preparations to take legal action against the perpetrator of the rumour if necessary.

Needless to say, Hyun Bin’s agency also emphasised that “both the gambling and divorce rumours are false”.

Most netizens did not fall for the groundless rumours, with many believing that it was “absurd”.

The viral video has yet to be deleted.
