He shares his honest opinion after he gave a different answer last year. đ
TXT recently made their comeback with their fifth mini-album, The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, and revealed a completely different concept from their last comeback with their fourth mini-albumâs title track, âGood Boy Gone Bad.â
This time, TXT has a softer concept with fairytale-like themes and a dreamier image.
Their latest mini-album was a resounding success, and the group made history, becoming the first K-Pop group to have every song from their mini-album reach the top 10 of the MelOn Top 100 chart.
They also became a double million seller group thanks to the success of the mini-album.
All tracks from “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” entered on the Top 10 of the MelOn Top 100.

TXT also broke records with their previous mini-album, minisode 2: Thursdayâs Child, with which the group became a million-seller group for the first time.
The iconic âGood Boy Gone Badâ era still lives in many MOAsâ heads, and a recent interview with Hueningkai proves itâs also on the TXT maknaeâs mind.
While promoting the song last year, Hueningkai had previously shared a positive first impression of the title track.
Iâd never heard a song like this before. It was a new kind of song for me.
And Iâd always been hoping that weâd get to do a tough song like this someday, so I thought, âThis is it.â
â Hueningkai
However, in his recent exclusive interview with Weverse Magazine, his recollection of his first time listening to âGood Boy Gone Badâ was a bit different.
Hueningkai hilariously shared that he struggled to accept their title track due to its unique style.
To be honest, when I first heard âGood Boy Gone Bad,â I felt like something was different suddenly and it wasnât my style, so I had a hard time accepting it.

What changed his mind was the energy he felt when they performed the song on stage and the idea that the fans who liked the song would really love the experience.
But after we did it on stage, it felt exciting and I had fun with it. I warmed up to it when I realized people who like it would probably really like it.
