What Will Happen To Van, Won Mi Ho, and Yohan in ‘Island’ Part 2

“Island” is a fantasy-action series, based on a webtoon novel, that follows the adventure of three individuals: Van, Won Mi Ho, and Father Yohan. They share the same goal of getting rid of the evil spirits in the island of Jeju.

In “Island” Part 1, viewers were introduced to the island of Tamra in Jeju. It is where Van (Kim Nam Gil), Won Mi Ho (Lee Da Hee), and Yohan (Cha Eun Woo) first met. Knowing that there’s a danger in Mi Ho’s life, Van and Yohan offered themselves to protect her by all means.

Unfortunately, due to his mission of saving the prophecy, Yohan killed his brother as he was possessed by an evil spirit to kill Won Mi Ho.

Meanwhile, Gong Tan (Sung Joon) has returned but is already against Van.

As the tension rises, viewers are curious what will be Van’s next move now that he and Yohan have the same goal to fight against Gong Tan.

Meanwhile, in a chop from his recent interview, Cha Eun Woo was asked what the viewers should expect from the upcoming “Island” Part 2. With Part 2 just around the corner, Yohan has reached a new turning point.

The idol-actor then shared that the remaining episodes are packed with more flashy and intense action scenes.

In addition, he hints that because each character has more backgrounds and narratives, the chemistry between each of them will collide.

He also pointed out that if the viewers watch how the three react and respond when Gong Tan rises to the surface and becomes stronger, the audience will enjoy the whole run.

Cha Eun Woo Cried While Reading ‘Island’ Script

In addition to his interview, the actor confessed that he cried while reading the “Island” script, particularly in the scenes of Yohan and Kang Chan Hee (Choi Tae Joon).

Chan Hee’s character reminded him of his real brother. He was fully immersed in the story, to the point that even though the filming had not started yet, he was already emotional.

Cha Eun Woo also shared that he was able to learn more from Kim Nam Gil and enjoyed working with the veteran actor.
