K-Pop Besties: LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae Names The Only K-Pop Idol She Is Currently Friends With

It hasn’t been long since LE SSERAFIM‘s Eunchae assumed her role as KBS Music Bank‘s newest MC, but she’s already booked and busy attending to her new work!

As part of her MC duties, the “ANTIFRAGILE” singer has started her very own variety show, Eunchae’s Star Diary, where she will be interviewing different K-Pop idols who are scheduled to perform on Music Bank.

Ahead of this, a short but sweet prologue episode was released several days ago. Eunchae was interviewed by the staff and asked various questions, including what it’s like to host, what she wants to do on the show, and what she is looking forward to.

When asked the latter question, the LE SSERAFIM maknae shared that she hopes to meet senior artists whom she has known about since she was a trainee. She singled out boy group Seventeen as the K-Pop group who inspired her to become an idol.

It hasn’t been long since I’ve debuted, and I get to meet seniors who I’ve watched when being a trainee. So that’s really an honor, and I’ve dreamt of being an idol watching Seventeen.

However, she explained that she doesn’t have many friends because it hasn’t been long since she made her debut. There is only one exception to this—NMIXX‘s maknae Kyujin! In side-by-side pictures, the two can even be mistaken as groupmates.

Because Kyujin is her only friend, she wishes to use her MC opportunity to befriend new people.

So I don’t really have friends. Especially the same age… Only Kyujin. In this opportunity! I want to broaden my relationships.
