Kim Jae Wook To Couple Up With Jo Bo Ah In New Period Drama
On May 15, media outlets reported that Kim Jae Wook will return to the television scene with the new historical drama “Tangeum.”
The series is based on a popular novel of the same name that tells the romance between a beautiful young woman and a man whom she meets along on her way to find a key piece to complete her life.

In April, “Tangeum” (literal title) confirmed the participation of Hallyu superstars Jo Bo Ah and Lee Jae Wook who will take on the main roles of Jae Yi and Hong Rang, respectively.
On May 25, Kim Jae Wook’s agency, Management SOOP, finally responded to the reports and gave clarity, saying that the actor is still reviewing the offer with a positive mind.
If he accepts the offer, the model-actor will take on the role of Prince Han Pyeong, the King’s only brother who’s obsessed with arts and painting, and has no interest in politics or being a royal.

Moreover, “Tangeum” will also mark Kim Jae Wook’s first historical romance drama in 15 years since “The Kingdom of the Winds.”
