Lee Ji Ah’s Best Friend Jang Hee Jin Becomes Her Enemy In “Pandora: Beneath The Paradise”

Friendships will be tested on the next episode of tvN’s “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise”!

Penned by “The Penthouse” writer Kim Soon Ok and helmed by “One the Woman” director Choi Young Hoon, “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” is a new revenge drama starring Lee Ji Ah as Hong Tae Ra, a woman who comes to realize that her picture-perfect life is actually a fabrication orchestrated by someone else as part of a devious grand plan.

On the previous episode of “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise,” Go Hae Soo (Jang Hee Jin) learned the shocking truth that Hong Tae Ra was No. 50, the killer responsible for her father’s death. Meanwhile, her husband Jang Do Jin (Park Ki Woong) discovered a shocking truth of his own: the fact that Pyo Jae Hyun (Lee Sang Yoon) was the person who had ordered the death of the chimpanzee Red, in order to cover up the side effects that had emerged during their trials.

Newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode offer a glimpse of the fallout from these devastating revelations. In one set of photos, Go Hae Soo stares coldly at her former best friend Hong Tae Ra, her gaze hardened by her feelings of betrayal and new thirst for vengeance.

Hong Tae Ra, who was overwhelmed with guilt when she learned her own identity, returns the enraged Go Hae Soo’s gaze with visible sorrow.

In another set of photos, the three musketeers of Hatch—Pyo Jae Hyun, Jang Do Jin, and Goo Sung Chan (Bong Tae Gyu)—face off in a tense confrontation.

Although they were once an inseparable trio, the dynamic between them has changed in the wake of Pyo Jae Hyun’s decision to run for office—and with cracks forming in their relationship, it remains to be seen what kind of ripple effect these changes will bring about.

The next episode of “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” will air on March 19 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
