“Physical 100” Contestant Kim Da Young Admits To Verbal Abuse Allegations But Denies Physical Abuse

Physical 100 contestant Kim Da Young has admitted to verbally abusing classmates while she was a student but denied claims of physical abuse.

In a post on her personal Instagram account, Kim Da Young posted the confirmation of her past verbal abuse towards classmates, apologizing to them but also denying the allegations made against her for physical abuse.

Hello, this is Kim Da Young.

I’m sorry that I am finally posting this now after several days of contemplating and reflecting.

First of all, I admit that I was what would be called a “playful” student 14 years ago. Looking back to the past, I did use abusive and hurtful language to maintain relationships with popular students and to discipline the younger students. I was immature and lacking sense. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize as there are younger students who were hurt by this. I am very sorry. This apology will not make my actions from the past disappear. Even if it takes some time, I will apologize to the affected parties in person and ask for forgiveness, should I have the chance to do so.

The reality is, Physical 100, a program where I also worked really hard on, is being negatively affected by my controversy and that makes my heart feel heavy. I would also like to apologize to the producers and the staff of the show. And I am also very sorry to the many people who watched the program and supported me.

However, there are also many parts that were raised which are difficult for me to aaccept because it is different from reality, so I would also like to correct those parts.

I have never taken money from others or used physical violence. The events occurred 14 years ago, so my memory may not be accurate, but I have been digging into my memories from 14 years ago and also contacted my friends from that time, asked them about what happened, and listened to their words.

I remember being an older student and swearing at the younger students and saying hurtful things but I did not use physical violence at the karaoke rooms or the parks and I did not extort money from others.

I think this false revelation is due to my past immature actions. However, if false revelations or information continue to be spread in the future, I will have no choice but to take legal action.

Lastly, I think many people this this is not a true apology, but excusing my actions. That’s what I used to think. But even if I apologize and ask for forgiveness, I don’t think it constitutes a real apology if I apologize and ask for forgiveness for something I did not do.

I will not hide my mistake and I will reflect on my past mistakes. This is something I can muster up the courage to do, and the best I can do. I won’t be able to convey my true feeling through just words, but I sincerely apologize once again to those I have hurt in the past.
