Josh Cullen has made his solo debut.
On 24 February, the SB19 member unveiled his first-ever solo track, ‘WILD TONIGHT’ via Sony Music Philippines. The edgy trap track is said to showcase the singer-producer’s truest self.
During his launch party ahead of the single release, Josh explained that even with the single taking on extravagant neo-gothic vampire themes, it is the expression of his truest self, from his personal style to his unique creative vision. ‘WILD TONIGHT’ speaks about breaking free and leaping through barriers that hinder you.

“First of all, it’s all me. While I love working with my bandmates and creating music as a group, this solo project has given me the chance to showcase my true self,” Josh shares in an official statement.
“I make sure that it aligns with the way I want it to be. I take pride in the fact that I’m the driving force behind my own creative vision. I have the trait of being a control freak. When I have an idea, I want it to be executed exactly as I envisioned it, to the point where I almost feel like I’m ‘meddling’ with the different teams that work with me. But I consider myself fortunate and grateful because they were extremely understanding and supportive of my artistic endeavours.”

Alongside the song, Josh will also be releasing the music video for ‘WILD TONIGHT’ later today at 7 PM PHT. The visual, which the singer also oversaw the creative direction for, follows the story of the many lives of a vampire royalty. The music video also sees cameos from fellow P-pop groups KAIA, 1st. One, and DIONE.

Josh comes as the latest SB19 member to expand their solo music career. Most recently, FELIP or better known as Ken dropped his solo debut EP, COMPLEX.
