Hong Kong singer-actress Vivian Chow, 55, is an animal lover.

She frequently shares pics of her three cats on Instagram and the generous star is known to volunteer and raise funds for non-profit organisations to care for strays.

Recently, her Hong Kong home has been getting visits from several neighbourhood parrots, much to the delight of Vivian and her husband, writer Joe Nieh.

Last month, she shared pics of three parrots that flew into her balcony, calling them Siew Bak, Siew Gun and Siew Kwai.

“The smallest of the three parrots that visited us the last time has come to see us again. Initially we saw them perched on the scaffolding of the building opposite, and then we watched it fly towards us and stood proudly on the [balcony] railing. We have been watching it with great joy. Let me and my husband name you Siew Bak, okay?” she wrote on Instagram.
