Watch: “Boys Planet” Trainees Cover BTS, NCT DREAM, And More + Announces Winners Of 1st Group Battle Mission

“Boys Planet” has closed out their intense group battle mission in the latest episode!

On the February 23 broadcast of Mnet’s “Boys Planet,” the final performances of a battle mission between K-Group and G-Group were shown.

This first mission consisted of cover performances of seven different songs. The trainees were split up into seven K-Group teams and seven G-Group teams, with one team from each group going up against each other for the same mission song. Last week, the first teams covered SEVENTEEN’s “VERY NICE” and BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love,” while G-Group’s performance was shown for EXO’s “LOVE ME RIGHT.”

Episode 4 featured K-Group and G-Group cover performances of Wanna One’s “Burn It Up,” BTS’s “Danger,” Stray Kids’ “Back Door,” NCT DREAM’s “Hot Sauce,” and K-Group’s performance of EXO’s “LOVE ME RIGHT.” At the end, the winners receiving the bonus points were revealed.

The winner of each battle was announced after the performances, with K-Group winning all of this week’s four matches. The fifth and final match was for EXO’s “LOVE ME RIGHT” for which the G-Group performance was shown last week. After K-Group’s performance this week, the close race ended with K-Group taking the victory.

The final score was 3,615 for K-Group, who won six of seven matches, and 2,084 for G-Group. As a result, all K-Group members were given 10,000 bonus points while each member of the teams winning their matches were granted 100,000 benefit points.

A special benefit was awarded to the K-Group “Back Door” team for achieving the highest overall score, meaning that all the team members had earned group, individual, and first place benefits. As a reward, this team earned the chance to perform on Mnet’s “M Countdown” and release individual PR content.

The first “Boys Planet” global vote closes on February 24 at 10 a.m. KST and the first eliminations will be announced via a live broadcast on the same day at 3 p.m. KST. The next episode of “Boys Planet” will air on March 2 at 8 p.m. KST.
