Shin Ye Eun is torn between three handsome “flower scholars” in her upcoming drama!
Based on the hit web novel of the same name, SBS’s “The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” is a mystery romance about an unconventional boarding house and three students who stay there as lodgers. Shin Ye Eun will star as Yoon Dan Oh, the owner of boarding house Yihwawon, while Ryeo Woon, Kang Hoon, and Jung Gun Joo will play three “flower scholars” who rent rooms—and are each hiding their own secrets.
The drama’s new teaser gives an introduction to the four main characters and the interesting relationships they develop. The clip begins with Yihwawon’s oldest boarding student Yook Yook Ho (In Gyo Jin) spying on Yoon Dan Oh alongside her nanny Na Jung Daek (Lee Mi Do). As they secretly observe Yoon Dan Oh’s interactions with her three marriage “candidates,” Yook Yook Ho excitedly comments, “I can see our Dan Oh in her wedding dress!”
After, the playful Yihwawon owner is introduced as someone comments, “Who’s going to stop that fearless and free-spirited Yoon Dan Oh?”
Yoon Dan Oh’s first potential husband is Kim Shi Yeol (Kang Hoon), an energetic liberal arts student. When he tells Yoon Dan Oh how pretty she is, she casually responds by saying she likes him very much. With his heart pounding, Kim Shi Yeol excitedly asks, “If you like me, do you want to marry me?”
While Jung Yoo Ha (Jung Gun Joo) rushes around to find a nice pair of shoes that suit Yoon Dan Oh, she shyly comments, “You are such a sweet person.” Jung Yoo Ha then adorably asks, “Can you make some time for me? I have something to say.”
Last up is Kang San (Ryeo Woon), a tsundere who looks cold but is always thinking of Yoon Dan Oh. When he sees tears in Yoon Dan Oh’s eyes, he softly comments, “Don’t cry.” But before she can make any assumptions, he quickly adds, “You look very ugly.” However, he isn’t always this blunt as he eventually tells her, “I came because of you. Because I was so worried about you. That you would get hurt.”
