Lee Ahin is a former MOMOLAND member and “Finding Momoland” contestant. After the members’ contracts expired, the group decided to disband, leaving their legacy behind.

On February 23, Ahin uploaded an Instagram photo, featuring her in a library. The idol is seen doing well, using her vacant time to explore places. Merries also expressed their heartwarming compliments, seeing the singer having a good moment.
Given her immense talent, fans are also curious on what Ahin has in store for them, and if she’s going to return on a group or debut as a soloist.
Some even pointed out her glow after leaving MLD Entertainment, and voiced out their support for Ahin as a non-idol.

Her Instagram post caught everyone’s attention, even WJSN Dayoung joined in, sharing what she had learned from studying the English language.

Lee Ahin’s Journey From Trainee To MOMOLAND’s Main Vocalist
On July 22, 2016, the first episode of “Finding Momoland” aired, which included Ahin as a trainee and contestant.

Ahin was also well-loved due to her singing talent, as well as her fluency in languages Mandarin, Korean, and English. After overcoming obstacles in the survival program, Ahin eventually placed on 6th place, earning her position at MOMOLAND.
In her interview for “Finding Momoland,” Ahin revealed that she dreams to be a famous singer, and desires to have her voice on an album. Through all her hard work, Ahin managed to make that dream come true by being making her way as MOMOLAND’s main vocal.

On November 10, 2016, MOMOLAND officially debuted with their first mini-album, “Welcome to Momoland.” The group immediately gained the interest of fans locally, due to their carnival-themed concept, describing MOMOLAND as a fun ride which everyone is allowed to join.
Ahin’s dream came true when their debut was followed by albums “Freeze!” (2017) and their breakthrough album “Great!” (2018), which contained their viral song “Bboom Bboom.” Afterwards it was followed by albums “Fun to The World (2018) and “Show Me” (2019).

They also released single albums “Wonderful Love” (2017), “Thumbs up” (2019) and “Ready or Not” (2020).
Back then, MOMOLAND originally had nine members which contained two main vocalists, namely Taeha and Ahin. However, Ahin became the sole main vocal when Taeha left MOMOLAND in 2019.

However, the K-pop community was met with unfortunate news, when MOMOLAND announced their disbandment on February 14, 2023. When the members’ contracts expired, it was mutually agreed that all activities are to be concluded, ending their six-year journey.
