Damien Rice will be making his way to Asia this year.
On 6 March, the Irish singer-songwriter announced that he will be visiting the continent as part of his globetrotting 2023 tour — which will also see him perform across Europe and Australia — in May and June.
After making an appearance at the Seoul Jazz Festival, which will be held from 26 to 28 May in South Korea, the 49-year-old will make his way to Taipei for a show on 31 May. He will then make a stop in Singapore on 3 June before wrapping up the Asia leg of his tour in Bangkok on 6 June.
Tickets to Rice’s concert in Taipei will go on sale from 10 AM local time on 26 March while tickets to his concert in Singapore and Bangkok will be available for purchase from 10 AM local time on 9 March. Fans who wish to get early access to tickets can sign up to join Rice’s mailing list here.
Formerly a member of Irish rock band Juniper, Rice has gained fame for tracks such as ‘The Blower’s Daughter’, ‘9 Crimes’, and ‘Cannonball’ since kicking off his solo career in 2001. To date, he has also released three studio albums — O, 9, and My Favourite Faded Fantasy.
