And just like that, it’s been two years since the passing of comedy icon Ng Man Tat. The veteran actor, who was 70, died from liver cancer in February 2021.
As we all know, Man Tat is best remembered for his work opposite Stephen Chow, playing the sidekick to the comedy legend in films such as Hail The Judge (1994) and Shaolin Soccer (2001).
However, the pair fell out in 2004 after Stephen allegedly kept Man Tat’s lead actor role in Kungfu Hustle for himself.
Sadly, Stephen and Man Tat did not manage to reconcile before the latter’s death.
And now Stephen has to live with regrets regarding the friendship as he recently revealed on social media.
