BTS’s Jungkook Deletes His Personal Instagram Account + Reassures Fans With Explanation

BTS’s Jungkook will take a break from using Instagram!

On February 28, fans were surprised to discover Jungkook’s personal Instagram account, which had over 50 million followers, getting suddenly deleted. Soon after this happened, Jungkook reassured fans through Weverse, writing, “I deleted my Instagram account. It wasn’t hacked. I just deleted because I wasn’t using it much… So don’t worry!”

In his other posts, he mentioned that he will continue to communicate with fans using Weverse Live instead. He wrote, “I immediately deleted the [Instagram] app too, and I don’t think I’ll be using it from now on! I just wanted to let you know in advance!”

Jungkook first launched his personal Instagram account on December 6, 2021 along with the other six BTS members.
